In effort to most effectively use the training I have received, I am able to offer both traditional therapy within the state of Alabama and virtually for residents of Florida as well as Story Work Consulting to individuals who are out of state. I also periodically offer virtual trauma narrative processing groups.

Story Work Consultation

The importance of stories informs all of my work with people, but I do offer a special service called Story Work Consultation that differs from the therapeutic process. Utilizing the training I have received from Dan Allender at the Allender Center in Trauma Focused Narrative Care, I have developed a 10 session curriculum that helps consultees to either begin or continue processing their story. This curriculum includes pre-reading as well as writing and reading aloud childhood trauma narratives.

Session 1 - Introduction/Setting the Stage

Sessions 2-3 - Engaging 1st Written Trauma Narrative (family of origin)

Sessions 4-5 - Engaging 2nd Written Trauma Narrative (sexuality/sexual development)

Session 6 - Recapping/Intermission

Session 7-8 - Engaging 3rd Written Trauma Narrative

Session 9-10 - Exploring Calling

Cost Per 10 Week Commitment: $1340 (may be paid in 4 installments of $335)

Pace: to be completed over 10 weeks or 20, depending on the pace that feels most comfortable for the consultee.
